Webtoon Slicer and Stitcher
Cut long webtoon strips into pages at blank gutters, or stitch pages into strips that stay within phone canvas limits. Forced cuts are flagged so a speech balloon is never split unnoticed.
Slicing at gutters
The slicer looks for flat rows, the blank space between panels, and cuts through the middle of the longest one near your target height. Where a stretch has no gutter, the cut is forced at the target height and the piece is marked so you can check it before publishing or translating.
Choosing heights
Pieces of 1,200–2,000 px at 800 px wide read well on phones. Minimum and maximum set how far the slicer may move from the target to find a gutter; a wider range finds more clean cuts. Use loose detection for gutters with texture or gradients.
Stitching
Select pages in order and stitch them into strips, for platforms that want long images or to rebuild a strip before slicing it differently. A new strip starts before 16 MP or the maximum height, because iPhone and iPad browsers refuse larger canvases.
Limits
Strips up to about 60 MP (for example 800 × 75,000 px) work on computers; phones may fail earlier. Around 200 files or 1 GB per batch is the comfortable range. Pieces are re-encoded; choose PNG for lossless output.
Runs entirely in your browser, in a background worker. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed; closing the tab discards the work. Optional encoders, when enabled, are downloaded from this site's asset domain and checked by SHA-256 before use.
