1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

2. Service Description

What we provide

Nature of the Service

The Service is a digital, intangible product. Access is granted immediately after payment is confirmed. Because of this immediate digital delivery, the refund limitations in Section 7 apply.

We aim for 99% monthly availability and give at least 24 hours notice of planned maintenance where practicable.

3. Account Registration & Eligibility

You must create an account with accurate and complete information and verify your email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Credits

The Service uses a credit system. You may buy one-time credit packs at any time; there is no automatic renewal. Credits are spent on translation, cleanup and other processing tasks. For available packs and current prices see the Pricing page.

Credits are reserved when a task starts and consumed only for pages that complete; credits for failed or cancelled work are released back to your balance.

Free trial pages and referral rewards are promotional, not available in every country or region, and may be withheld where we detect abuse (for example, invites from the same network or browser). Purchased credits are available everywhere we accept payment.

5. Billing & Payment

Credit purchases

Each credit purchase is a one-time transaction. By completing a purchase you authorise [Company Name] to charge your payment method the amount displayed at checkout. We do not offer automatic top-up.

Currency and taxes

Prices are charged in US dollars and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Where required by law, taxes are collected separately at checkout.

6. Credit Validity & Account Termination

Credit validity

Purchased credits do not expire, unless stated otherwise at purchase. We send a reminder before credits expire.

Account termination

If your account is terminated by you or by us, unused credits are retained for 30 days. After that period they expire without refund unless applicable law requires otherwise. Questions: support@mangatranslate.im.

7. Refund Policy

This refund policy is also displayed at checkout and on the Refund Policy page.

Because the Service is delivered digitally and immediately, consumed credits and used subscription periods are generally non-refundable, except as follows:

• Unused credits: a full refund within 7 days of purchase if none of the purchased credits have been used.
• Duplicate charges or billing errors: always refunded in full.
• Verified outages within our control lasting 72 hours or more: a pro-rated refund or credit compensation.
• Statutory rights: consumers in the EU, UK and Australia keep their 14-day right of withdrawal for a first purchase, which ends once you start using the credits with your consent.

Refunds are not available for accounts terminated for breach of these Terms. To request a refund, email [refunds@ email] with your account email and transaction ID. We acknowledge within 2 business days and return eligible refunds to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

8. Billing Disputes

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact [billing@ email] before disputing it with your bank. We respond within 2 business days and fix confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

9. Your Content, AI Output & Intellectual Property

Your rights to what you upload

You may only upload manga, comics or other material that you own or are authorised to translate and adapt. You remain responsible for obtaining any licence required from the copyright holder, including for publishing or distributing translated pages.

Ownership of outputs

Subject to these Terms and to the rights of the original copyright holders, translated pages and other outputs generated for you belong to you and may be used for any lawful purpose.

Licence to process your inputs

You grant [Company Name] a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your uploads solely to provide the Service. We do not use your uploads or outputs to train AI models without your explicit consent.

Third-party AI models

The Service uses third-party AI model providers, currently API Mart (apimart.ai). Output quality and availability may be affected by these providers, and we do not guarantee any specific translation quality.

Accuracy

AI translation and full-page image generation can mistranslate text, omit text or alter artwork. Review every page before relying on or publishing it.

10. Acceptable Use Policy

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• upload or produce content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing or fraudulent;
• upload or produce any content that sexualises minors or otherwise violates child-protection laws;
• translate or distribute works you have no right to use, or otherwise infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
• create deepfakes that impersonate real people or mislead viewers about the origin of content;
• upload malware or attempt to circumvent security features, rate limits or credit controls;
• use inputs or outputs to train, fine-tune, benchmark or distil a competing AI model, or scrape outputs at scale;
• resell or sub-license access to the Service without our prior written approval;
• violate any applicable law, regulation or card-network rule.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach this policy. Report abuse to [legal@ email]; for copyright notices follow the Copyright policy.

11. Data, Privacy & Security

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. Payment card data is processed exclusively by our PCI-DSS certified payment processor (Stripe) and is never stored on our servers. Account data is retained for 90 days after account closure and then deleted, except records we must keep by law.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of AI outputs.

AI-generated content disclaimer: outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Company Name] is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Term & Termination

These Terms apply while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach, suspected fraud or where required by law.
