1. Our approach

The Service translates files that users upload for their own use. You may only upload material you own or are authorised to translate (see the Terms of Service). We respect the rights of copyright holders and respond to valid notices of alleged infringement, following the notice-and-takedown process of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws.

Uploaded files are private to the uploader's workspace and are not published in any gallery or public page. Files are deleted automatically: uploads without a paid task after 24 hours, paid project files after 30 days and exports after 7 days.

3. What a notice must include

Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for them.
Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
Information that lets us locate the material, such as the account email or project name.
Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

4. What happens next

When we receive a complete notice we disable access to the material, notify the affected user and keep a record of the notice. Incomplete notices may be returned for more information.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages.

5. Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with: your signature; identification of the material and where it was before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake; and your name, address, telephone number and consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address.

Unless the complainant tells us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.

6. Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are the subject of repeated valid notices. See the Terms of Service for account termination and credits.
